Je l'ai lu en français, et wow! The setup is simple, the Sure Grip makes it easy to move around and adjust for the best picture quality. There is one mystery that Ambrose wants to find out and that is uncovered throughout the book. This reward is limited to the first 20 supporters. She lives in Vancouver with her family and two naughty cats. His mother moves them around a lot but the story takes place in Vancouver where they are renting a basement from a nice Greek couple. Twee sterren wil in dit geval niet zeggen dat ik het slecht vond, het boek was oké, maar eerlijk gezegd had ik er toch iets meer van verwacht.

When the landlords son Cosmo suddenly arrives home after being discharged from prison, Ambrose and Cosmo form an unlikely friendship over their shared love for scrabble. Plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing you're helping to keep the channel alive and growing. It really portrays the connection between two people very well and shows how two totally different people all have something in common. The characters at the Scrabble Club come to embrace Ambrose for who he is and for their shared love of words. Think about what Nerds and Geeks enjoy.

After an incident at school with his bullies, his overprotective mom decides to home-school him. Of course, mom does not know so there is a lot of sneaking around. A simple yet moving plot, characters you will love and hate-- this book needs to be read. Like seeing someone you know in a movie, and you can't stop giggling. The narrator is 12, and while I do not personally think there's anything in here a 12-year-old couldn't handle or hasn't thought about already , it's definitely outside what you usually see for that age.

Truly was one of the books that I felt I had slipped into. The main character - Ambrose - had a really interesting character, and the way the story evolved was really interesting. However, with that book, I picked it up because everyone was raving. I picked it up last night and finished it this morning. Мног Определено не очаквах, че книжката ще ми хареса толкова много, защото самият й сюжет не е нищо особено или оригинално, но пък стилът на писане беше просто невероятен! I just loved this book - smiled my way through it - and will definitely read more of Susin Nielsen's novels.

Not only was the plot great, the characters were so real. If you are a fan of Susin Nielsen, this book will not disappoint - it's written in her usual easy to read, funny style and has some quirky and lovable characters. This book isn't too long and recommend this book to people that need a break from a long book. Ambroise befriends their recently paroled son and they end up joining a scrabble club. Larsen where I just did not like the cover. Word Nerd is perfect for when you just want to sit down and get lost in a simple book for about 2 hours. Cosmo, Amanda, and Ambrose soon form an unlikely alliance and, for the first time in his life, Ambrose blossoms.

I have had the privilege of having Tony come to two of my Business Communications classes to teach students about his experience in Social Media, specifically with You Tube. This is definitely one of the books that I would love to read again. Evergreen videos relate to food reviews just as much as they do product reviews. Quite by accident, Ambrose discovers that they share a love of Scrabble and coerces Cosmo into taking him to the West Side Scrabble Club, where Cosmo falls for Amanda, the club director. Many ups and downs throughout the book. We reserve the right to delete any comment without notice or explanations.

Larsen, was published in August 2012. If in doubt, email me and ask. It is about Ambrose, a boy who's father died while working on a construction site. Tech and other nerd and geek-related products will work best. As an only child, my parents do the same and I can relate to how it felt.

You'll finish it with a big smile on your face. We asked Old Nerd 5 questions and, since YouTube is his main channel, naturally he answered via video. I already miss Ambrose and Cosmo. SprdMain img{display:block;max-width:none} media min-width:1400px {. Of course, Ambrose's mom forbids him to spend time with Cosmo, but Ambrose is pining for a father figure, and latches onto Cosmo's shared love of, believe it or not, Scrabble. The only problem is that Ambrose's overprotective mother doesn't approve of Cosmo. I loved the idea of the scrabble club and how Ambroise interacted with the members.

I loved Ambrose's quirks, the way Cosmo treated him and the way the adults were portrayed. What this books is about: Ambroise is a 12 year old with many issues - fatherless, severe pea I found this author late. He excelled at being the 'voice' of our company in all of our multimedia. Those types of videos are like a bolt of lightning that strikes once and then is gone. Plus, you get access to a crazy quilt of videos no ads either! But when his mom starts working nights and enrolls him in online school, he's got some unsupervised time.

Nielsen has a way of creating characters that are loveable in their own quirky ways. A few colleagues had read the book and raved about it but I was resistant. She also has a knack for writing humorous stories that have a lot of issues. This book is beautiful and simple and perfect for every middle school student. YouTube is, indeed, a business. I loved this book so much because of it's simplicity in terms of the way its written, but the depth that the author goes into for the characters.
